Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
- Being the main point of contact for all technical aspects from design, development, and manufacture.
- Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.
- Working to deadlines and schedules.
- Maintaining good version control.
- Responsible for controlling personal workload and identifying any further resource need.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 10 years industry experience OR BEng Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 7 years of experience.
- Ability to demonstrate previous product development from concept through to production.
- Proficiency with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR)
- Proficiency in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART. Ethernet advantageous.
- Proficiency with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable.
- Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable.
- Self-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
